A little bit about us...

If you've landed here, you probably want to know a little more about 'The Gadabouts'.

We're Niamh and Eppie, we're married (to each other), and we have our fur baby, Gracie, with us at almost all times.

 

In 2022, we bought a small two bed village house in Andalucia and, in 2023, we bought a thirty year old left-hand-drive motorhome. We spent some of our savings to improve them both a little and then, in early 2024, we left the UK for a new life in Spain and on the road!

​

We left our respective jobs (Niamh on sabbatical) and we now both work remotely building, copywriting and optimising (SEO) websites and we also do a little marketing consultancy on the side.

 

That means, of course, that we can work from anywhere which is just as well as we are very often found roaming the hills and the coastline of Spain any time of the year and right across Europe over the summer months. In Lucky Duke, our lovely old van, of course!

We started this blog because we found it tough to find the kind of info we needed when we needed it so we're sharing our lived experience here in the hope it helps others. We're also here to provide a bit of inspo.
